Recognizing the increasing need for professionals who can analyze problems in business operations and organize solutions to such problems, many educational institutions are now starting to offer different business analysis training programs to equip business owners, managers and even IT professionals with skills needed to perform the challenging task.
Many employers consider a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Information Technology or Software Development from a university or a reputable college as the minimum requirement for the position of business system analyst. However, there are also companies that are open into hiring individuals who graduated with an associate’s degree from a technical or vocational school. In some cases, organizations consider candidates that possess relevant work experience in a non-technical 4-year degree.
